Mario Kart Wii:
Unlockable Characters:
During the game while you complete cups and whatever cc modes, ypu'll unlock characters. But that doesn't
mean all the characters. The list below tells what characters get unlocked when you do what.
Baby Daisy: Get a minimum of one star rank in all cups in 50cc.
Bowser Jr.: Get a minimum of one star rank in all cups in 100cc.
Dry Bowser: Get a minimum of one star rank in all cups in 150cc.
Funky Kong: Unlock 4 expert staff ghosts in time trials.
Baby Luigi: Unlock 8 expert staff ghosts in time trials.
Birdo: Unlock 16 expert staff ghosts in time trials.
Toadette: Play all time trials levels once.
Mii Outfit B: Unlock all expert staff ghosts in time trials.
(To unlock expert staff ghost, you must beat the original staff ghost by 7 sceconds first)

Level Secrets:
Most levels have secrets to speed you up... for a price usually. Use a mushroom to be safe when preforming
them. These are some of them.
Coconut Mall: When you start the race and go up one of the escalators, go to the far right. Drive
for a few seconds and keep your eyes to the right until you see an open shop with a clapping Pianta (or cheering I don't remember).
Use a mushroom in there and BOOM! you've saved a couple seconds. This cheat is good
for time trials.
Maple Treeway: After passing the blue speed-up thing with arrows and are passed the sturdy wooden bridge,
and are driving on the bouncy metal bridge, go to ether right or left sharply (without falling off the edge) to uncover an
open treetrunk. (A mushroom is not needed.) A nice speed boost I'd say.
Moon View Highway: There are two, actually. The first is a little tricky. At the very first right turn,
very lightly printed in the grass are tire tracks. Use a mushroom to speed up and fly BUT WATCH
OUT!!!!!!! Trucks and cars can squish and bump you and the cheat would be useless. The other cheat is
obvious. At the first left, there are tire tracks. Follow them (no mushroom needed) and jump, flip, or whatever else you want
to.
Peach Beach: As you go down the path after the start/finish line, go onto the tar with all the boxes. Go
behind the box with the clapping Pianta to discover a speed platform. Another awaits you and use your mushroom when
you enter the water.
Daisy Circut: Before you take the turn to the fountain with Luigi and Daisy (Adults), look for a staircase
going up on the right side. A mushroom is optional.
